Stop hoping your marketing works. Make it something you can count on.

I embed with startups and growing businesses as their Fractional CMO, bringing the strategy and doing the hands-on work, so you know what's growing revenue and what isn't.

Amy Wilson

Hi, I'm Amy.

Over years of working with small and midsized businesses, I've learned that most need one of two things: a marketing system built from the ground up, or a setup that grew by accident rebuilt to drive sales. Either way, when resources are limited, every decision has a cost, so I help you put your time and budget where they'll pay off most. I'm based in Phoenix and work with clients anywhere.

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • A full-time marketing executive feels too early, but a junior hire can't carry it alone.
  • Marketing runs on whoever has time: you, after hours, or a marketer who's busy but sales aren't moving.
  • You're spending money on marketing but can't say what's actually working.
  • You have more ideas than budget and aren't sure which ones to bet on.

That's where I come in. I don't arrive with a standard playbook. I start by learning what's specific to your business and your customers, build a strategy around that, and do the work to execute it. You get a senior marketer who's in it with you, and numbers tied to revenue, not likes and clicks.

How I work

  1. 1. Find where the money is going and what's coming back.

Before recommending anything, I ask a lot of questions. What does the business need to hit this year? Who buys from you, and why do they come back, or not? What have you already tried? Then I dig into your numbers to find where you're losing customers and revenue.

  2. 2. Rank what to fix first.

No business has the time or budget to fix everything at once. I rank every possible improvement by how much revenue it's likely to bring in against the effort it takes, so we start with what's most likely to pay off the fastest.

  3. 3. Do the work and show you what changed.

I do the work myself, or direct your team and agencies. As we go, you'll see what changed, what it's bringing in, and what's next, in reports tied to revenue, not likes and clicks.
